This is an example of how I tutor. My student found a dress pattern in a magazine and worked under my supervision through the whole process of turning the pattern into a dress.
First we worked with the pattern to obtain the correct size.
Next pattern onto fabric transfer. Seam allowances etc.
Then (finally) some sewing.
And putting it all together. Zippers and finishing touches and of course fitting.
